Rim markings confusion

Hi there, new to the forum and really need some advice. I have a 2000 Sprinter and wish to understand the offset code on my rim, even the guy the local Mercedes garage could not help.

Rather than having 'ET' stamped on it, it says 3/00. I am trying to figure out whether the offset is positive, neutral or negative. My understanding is that this means it is neutral. I am looking to buy another set of rims which have the code 37/05, again, don't understand what this means. Can anyone decipher this for me please? I'm having a right 'mare trying to figure it out. never seen anything except an ET value, sorry! Welcome though and wish you luck, hopefully someone brighter will come along soon

Those markings refer to manufacture date. I still have the original steel wheels for my 1998 C Class. They are stamped 14/98 as well as showing the width and ET value.

Oh right! That’s really interesting, thanks. I basically ended up getting the guy who I wanted to buy some rims off to measure the offset for us so hopefully they fit ok when we put them on. Thanks both for the replies Really appreciate it. Cheers
