Hi all ordered a engine mount from my local stealership got quoted £47 plus vat part arrived it was £54 plus vat is this typical leaves you with a sour taste in your mouth ,thinking of changing marques ...

Have we a storeman out there who can check the price part number p ma202 240 16 17

Not a partsman but it sounds about right, these are more like shock absorbers than simple rubber mounts, they contain hydraulic fluid, which may justify the price, still a bit steep though.

It does sound OTT I just worked it out at £51 inc vat, from the daimler chrysler site.
