Road House ???

My r230 2007 needs new brake pads .My indy is suggesting Road House over Textar as he say's they are better and don't squeak. Never heard of em ! Any thoughts please.

Why not fit the MB pads and discs ? I would next time. I used third party pads and discs and had to file the edges of the pads to make them fit the calipers, plus they squealed, so had to use anti squeal paste. All ok now though. Another time I would pay the extra £100 or so and get the MB ones. I can't remember what ones I used, but not worth the hassle of experimenting in my view.

Still, it's your trusted independent, so I suppose you have to trust them to do the job properly for you.

Your indy could be a reseller for roadhouse.
Anyway that aside I have never heard of them.
Spanish company they are and I dont rate Spanish engineering.
So a no for me.

I personally would go to the dealer parts dept and get what you need and ask for discount.
