Roof Control Unit SL300

Can anyone advise me where I can lay my hands on a Roof Control Unit for my Merc 300SL 24V it's a 1993.

My Merc main dealer has quoted at lot of money.

i've seen the part in question, it's hidden under the rear seats of the SL behind the driver.

the part simply looks like any other electrical equipment that has three plug ins which should take on a few moments to install.

failing that does anyone know of someone who can recondition these parts?

Be very careful there are about 20 different versions of the ECU you are talking about and for a period they were very easily damaged by jump starting the car. I do have one but it has fault on it which flatens the batt after about 3 days if the vehicle is not used. If you are interested let me have your chassis No and I will check if it is compatable.
