Hi guys,

Looking to accesorise already. I believe my model is an s203 version (03 c-class estate). Looking for the best place to get some extra space as finding that with a kiddy seat and also a dog there's just not enough space. (can't believe how small this thing is, with the child seat in the back the front passenger seat offers very little leg room - but that's for another thread)

I understand I need some roof bars and then probably a top box. Any one have any good advice, good experience?

Also apparently Mercs don't do a luggage net for the boot, so any tips on these would be good too.

Thanks

I suppose roofbar's etc are available, just I cant think when I've ever seen a Merc' with a roof box?

I felt self concious taking the CLK to the tip..............so I bought a Range Rover for jobs like that instead!
I believe that fuel consumption will suffer considerably, if your contemplating big miles?..............larger Merc' or second vehicle???

E class estate is the solution....

The when that is too small go for a Vianno or Caravelle...

Seriously though MB do roof rails for the C Class, and cross bars as well, although I doubt they are cheap. You could possibly try one of the breakers for the rails and they may have the cross bars as well.

Will try that. Interestingly After 2 merc dealers said they didn't do a luggage net for the boot I received a Merc luggage net as a birthday gift this week. So shame on Norwich and Cambridge dealers and points to Bury dealership.

If I could afford a a range rover just to go to the tip I'd have gone for an E-CLass!
