Hi all... looking for a bit of guidance, I think that I've got two incompatible parts but perhaps I'm just not setting them up right!
I just got a set of roof bars and some bike holders for my w205. Supposedly they're compatible with my estate, certainly the roof bars were a breeze to fit... however once I removed the rubber strip from the bars and tried slotting the bottom of rack into the roof bar groove, it looked like the bars are too wide/deep to accommodate the bike holders.
The bars are A2058900193, and the racks are part no. A0008900293 - according to the MB parts website they were compatible for my vehicle, but I don't think they work together.
