It’s Evoque by the way but also check out What Car 2019 reliability survey, came bottom of its class !
I’m with LK, of the current offerings from LR the Velar looks by far the best( and is high up in reliability).

They had the engine out due to a balance shaft issue, brake issues and lights that were random in operation.

These are features and not bugs for JLR product!

Saw my pal last night. He had an Evoke from new for 3 years and not a thing went wrong with it!
He swapped it for a Macan GTS though

Snap, I swapped my 3.0s XF for the Evoque 2.2 Dynamic 2013 which had the Brabus/Startech treatment.

Lovely cabin, good spec, but lousy performance, developed a bit of a gearbox delay at roundabouts.

Even with the black wheels, spoiler and tints it was still perceived as a bit of a girly car as even a member of the public pointed out to me when I pulled up outside a Restaurant one evening.

Mine was reliable over 18 months of ownership but I really missed the performance of the Jag.

That was a surprisingly quick car and the engine was an absolute jewel. It's a shame that my son-in-law had so many electrical problems with it otherwise I am sure he would still have it and not the MB he has now

I actually don't mind the new defender (in 3 door form at least) and the Discovery Sport looks quite nice in my view.
Best looking Land Rover product is definitely the Velar in my opinion.

And the new Defender is even worse, don't know what JLR are thinking of
