Rubber pad found in boot of SLK R172

Hi guys,

I found this rubber pad, see pics below, loose in the boot and I need to find out where it's dropped from. There are two similar ones, one either side of the boot, that protects the roof when closed. These are both in place, so this is a third one.

The one I found has indentations on it which shows it's protecting something as it's being squished. Would anyone know where this rubber pad could have come from?

Panic over, Whoop whoop. When the boot separator is pushed forward the leading edge, on the right, sits on it. A bit awkward to put back but Superglue helped!
