Hi,
Since changing my wheels to 17" with 45 series tyres, I get a deep rubbing type noise from the front area.
I know that the wheels are not rubbing against anything so am wondering wheather the bushes or bearing might cause this noise?
I have also tried the old wheels, but the noise remains.
I'm sure something has worn out do to the ride now being more harsher.
It comes at any speed over 10mph, and can hear it more on the motorway.

Any ideas pls?

Rubbing with rotation? Something stuck in the brake calliper? A pebble? Bearings ?

Hi,
It is not the bolts as I have tried original wheels. Nothing stuck in brakes.
If the bearings/bushes are gone would it make that type of noise?
My mechanic said that weak bushes might cause this.

The sound is a deep faint rubbing sound.

Strange

Are you sure it's not just increased tyre noise from wider tyres?
