Run Down 350SL

1971 350SL in need of parts. Headlight switch unit, indicator switch, seals, soft top and indicator glasses.

Can anyone recommend a supplier/s please.

Much appreciated.

Hi,

Good luck with the project. lots of parts are available from the dealer, they will need the VIN to identify the car, some parts are remarkably cheap as well.

Lots of second hand stuff is also available, breakers advertise in the magazine. I have used Mercman in Southampton who will deliver and Ive always been happy. Finally Ebay is a good source of parts, you have to wade through a lot of rubbish but it is their.

Thanks for your help and tips gents. I'm a bit of a novice with this and no doubt I'll be posting more and more notices as I imagine it is likely that I am opening a can of worms in trying to bring this car back to A1 condition.
