As the title suggests, I am already looking at ways to getting more gains from 'my' W208 CLK 55 AMG that I havent even bought yet!!
First port of call (I believe) would be an ECU remap. So I was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with EVOLVE(yourcar.com)?
They quote gains of 19 BHP, and 40 Nm of torque for £950, but after enquiring, this would be untested on my car-ie, no dyno etc.. the mapper comes round to your house and maps the chip. You test drive it, and if you're happy, part with your money...
Are the power gains quoted realistic figures for this car with just a simple remap? Also, I am sceptical as to the figures quoted as they would not be tested on my car, and with every car being different and all...
Does anyone have or know of anyone that has had dealings with this company? If not, can anyone recommend a competent remapper?
