hi got ml 270 cdi 2001 yreg had injectors changed but still got problems when running hot the car seems so flat had mechanic out 5 times still no joy put laptop on car no faults reported any one come across this problem it seems like its holding back its cost me small fourtune so far so any help please

Sounds like a MAF problem to me. Often will not cause any fault codes to be stored. An indy with a Star machine can check the sensor for correct operation on a sort of bar graph.

Mine went a bit flat, changed the MAF and it felt like it had a tuning chip fitted, massive improvement. Probably just as cheap to change it as paying to have the car plugged into Star.

Simple job, buy it from GSF or Bosch, ½ the price of MB.

Its item 14 in the link, and easy to fit 10 mins this filters sets up the car engine for fuel/air/temp etc and as said it should fix it
