RUST EATEN REAR JACKING POINT

Got a 87 190E failed an mot as the jacking point was rusted and crusty but has now cleared out been repaired with a section of new panel, any idea how to rustproof these parts to save me future problems again?

Spray some paint in and then pump in some Waxoil which is a rust preventative wax, which can be purchased from all good auto factors.

besides keeping that area rust free again, I went out and got a normal car jack, I never felt safe with those jacks. (and the jack i got was free :lol: )
