rust on wheel arches

How long is the anti rust/paint warranty on a W202 C220? mine was well disguised when I bought it but has now poked through. Miffed really I just let go a 18 year old 190e which had no rust problems at all.

I believe it was 1999 when the 30 year corrosion warranty started.

Sorry to say it starter after late (25th?) October 98. It was 8 years for cars registered before that.
