rust

My 98 e class is essentially rust free. However there are a few tiny spots developing on the arches and a few tiny spots underneath the car. I put some wax on the spots underneath the car the in a bid to halt any progression. I had some rust under the door seals, but managed to wax these which seems to have sorted or 'slowed' the problem.

I need to be pro active. What products can i buy and apply to stop the rust from advancing?

Hi Swift,

Does your Merc have a galvanised body shell ? I'm not an expert but the advice might vary depending on this.
