Hi all,

I have a w211 eclass, and on the inside of the bootlid, there are 2 screws, which are rusted, does not look very nice. What the best way of sorting this out? Do I need to replace them or some kin dof lubricant?

thanks,

Hi digisatman

Are the screws rusted in place? A good quality penetrating oil should work. For really rusted-in screws, I use a screw extractor.

When replacing screws that might rust again, I'll dip them in oil or a light-bodied grease.

REGARDS
