Hello all
This is not merc related but just a general question
Is there anything I can buy to spray on my brake disc to prevent them rusting
At the minute I’m probably only using the car once a week , if that
The brake disc are rusting 1/2 days after parking up
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Don’t spray anything on the discs...
Just use the brakes quite a bit before you park it and they’ll be hot and therefore dry when you park it.

Hi Bert, welcome to the forum, all you can do is make sure the brake pads squeeze as much dampness of of the brake discs as you can before you park up. Other than that there is nothing you can do, but don't spray anything on your discs at all !!!

I wasn’t going to spray anything
Without advice from here first.
I was just wondering if there was something on the market but it looks like there not

Brake disks will show spots of surface rust with an hour after parking if its wet in the air or spots of rain splash on them.
Its nothing to worry about they live outside all the time.
Just change then when they need changing - thats their only maintenance.
