I think this car is great BUT.......
Can anyone tell me how to get the command unit out of the dash on a 2000 S320. It's gone crazy on me. It does not know where I am, I cant seem to calibrate, and its last location can come up anywhere in the country.

Hi,

I havent actually removed a comand from an S class myself but.....

If you select FM then press Mute, 1 and 3 hold them for 10 seconds you should get the diagnostic screen up.

Scroll to diagnosis and select System reset.

Failing this you will need to get the comand out and remove the fuse from the back of it. Leave it for 10 minutes and put the fuse back in.

Then go to SYS and calibrate it with your rear wheel size and then location.

If this doesnt fix it., then your unit may be faulty.

hope this helps.

Thanks Alfie but it the Command2.5 does't have the menu buttons.
Have calibrated a number of times. It woked for a day last week but since then It gone crazy again. By the way it's only the sat nav that plays up.
