Hi, I'm new here and have just bought an S320CDI 2004 mdl. When I put the key in the seat moves and the wing mirrors, which is fine but I don't have memory seats and the interior mirror move too which is a real pain.
I've checked the book,no luck gone back to the garage I bought it from and they sheepishly tell me they don't know either, they have to contact the factory for advice.
The lazy lock will not close the sunroof but the roof closes if you hold the internal switch but not on one touch.
They tried to reset it at the garage but no joy.

The seat and steering wheel movement is basically an easy entry facet.. Im pretty sure on the S class that all these items can be programmed just by using your steering wheel buttons..see if you can get convenience up on the screen and scrolldown thru the menu..They are complicated especially if you are over 30 yrs old.. so if you have a nipper over 5 set him to it ..under five and he will only laugh at you and your ageist incompetence

With regard to the steering moving when you put the key in, just below the indicatoer stork is a little mini stork twist it to turn off the convenance mode that it is in now. The sun roof is set by open it and holding the switch for 5 seconds I think. This also works for the windows! If its got memory seat just set it to how you want it the press the (M) button then press the button (1) now the key should the driver set up for the memory seats. (I THINK)

Thanks for the help but the interior mirror is not set by the car menu and I can't find any buttons for it,I don't have memory seats although they are electric and the roof does not reset, the garage even tried hooking the car onto their system, but reported no luck.I fail to see how you can have an electric mirror that has to be programmed by the garage.I am aware of the steering wheel menu and the small stalk but so far no joy until the garage who are Mercedes contact their support services.
There as got to be a button to set the mirror !!!!
