On the 2000 model, it is not located in the glove box. It is in the boot, left hand side recess under the carpet.

Changed in 2003, still in boot, but built into the left hand side wall.

I would have thought that they would be prewired but I am sure "an expert" will let you know for definite.

I've a 2000 model and it's on the left hand side in the boot on a cradle connected to the roof of the boot. Though that's audio 10 and not command, could be the difference.

Thanks for the replies most helpful. But do you know the model number of the multi changer itself.

I am hoping that if the wiring is all there all I need to do is get the multi changer and install it.

Be aware, the CD changer will 'talk' via an optical loop. Its an orange cased fibre optic (looks like a regular wire at first). If this D2B loop isn't installed, it is a pretty major job. I have done one before, and it involved removing the complete loop from the car and fitting a different one with an extra link for the changer. You are talking about all seats and centre console out. Rear seats are a pig!! When it is all in it still won't work. The changer needs to be added to the system with a software change. Any indie with Winstar can do it.
