S211 AIR SUSPENSION CONVERSION QUESTION

Hi all, I have a 2008 E320 CDI with only rear levelling, not airmatic. The rear suspension is playing up, sometimes drops down enough to bring the warning light on, sometimes not. I have decided to potentially get rid of the system and replace it with the Arnott coil spring system. Does anyone have any experience doing this? any suggestions/tips would be most welcome. I don't tow a trailer that often (if at all) and rarely have it loaded up, usually only 2 people in the front.

Does it work out cheaper than getting the bags replaced?
Conversely have you priced up replacement struts as fitted to variants that don't come with rear self levelling?
