G'day
Had an issue with rear wash wipe on my S211, would start to sweep then stick and may complete sweep occasionally, move often not.
Reading a couple of threads it seems that water can penetrate down the shaft, through into gearing part of mechanism.
Tried spraying WD40 down shaft and this improved issue but was still sticking.
Today I removed the motor and took it apart, brushes on motor look a little worn but workable, the shaft that the wiper bolts to was corroded so cleaned as best I could and lubricated. The mechanism itself was clogged with brown grease, clearly water had penetrated, I cleaned this out and lubricated liberally with silicone lubricant reassembled and voiala, fully functioning.
Gut feeling is that motor may be on way out, there must be a way to simply replace this element, £130 to replace otherwise, will have to investigate, still for the moment works perfectly again.
