Sorry to drag this subject up again but I'm looking for some advice if at all possible...
Having chased my tail with SLS woes for weeks I finally bit the bullet today and took the car to the main dealer to have it hooked up to Star.
They have come back and said that they believe it's the control module which is at fault, price circa £500 including installation. Apparently Germany do not have stock and there is a long lead time so I was contemplating fitting a second hand unit myself but they have advised that it will need coding to the car.
Is anyone able to confirm whether this is correct? And is there any chance that a second hand unit will just plug and play?
Used parts are circa £50 so even if I can get 12 months out of the part that would be of benefit.
I'd also be grateful if someone can confirm where the module is located. For reference, I only have the self levelling rear suspension and not the full airmatic system.
All help appreciated as sadly the closest indy is 100 miles away.
Thanks.
