For Winter Tyres, Can I fit 8J x 17 H2 ET38 with 245 x 45 27 alloy to my 2012 E350 CDI Estate?

S212 E350 CDI Palladium Silver with Chestnut Brown Climate Seats
Hi,

i'm a 30 something proud owner of a 62 reg E350 CDI - S212 - in Palladium Silver with Chestnut Brown Leather Climate Seats + Digital TV + Panroof are my favorite features.

This car has been recently tuned by Nas at GAD Tuning North and produces circa. 750 NM in torque!

I've not seen another/similar specification car before to be honest either

In the past, I've owned 2013 E250 CDI SE Saloon in Cavansite Blue with Black Leather, Front Climate Seats AND Rear Heated Seats + Electric Rear Window Blind.

Prior to that I've owned a 2011 E350 CDI Sport Coupe in Black, Full dechrome and black satin wrapped grill, satin black wheels, black leather, HK sound, pan roof + Sport Mode + Dynamic Handling pack.

(Photos attached, too).

Cheers,

Welcome, I have a 212 E350CDI in standard tune. Had it over 9 years only one minor fault, very pleased with it.

I highly recommend a remap and gearbox reset. The acceleration is linear and gearbox smoother, effortless increase in performance with the slightest press on the pedal. When driving sensibly I’ve seen mpg go up from low 40mpg to 47mpg+ with the EGR valve closed, the car feels less restricted that when it was not tuned.

What fault do you have with your car?

Sounds a similar spec to my car, though mine being a 2010 doesn’t have the pan roof but does have a sun roof. I’ll have a check if my alloys later and see what the sizes are, I think the ones your asking about might be the wrong ET, either way your handbook will confirm the alloy sizes available to fit Snd even the recommended one for winters.
