The rear headrests on my 96 S280 don't lock in the upright position and I can't seem to find any info on them. Are they solonoid operated, and how do you access the mechanism to check them?
I would be grateful for any help.
Thanks

Thanks for that Malcom the mechanics seem clear, but still not sure how the electrics work I presume it's part 50 thats the solonoid. The rocker switch on the centre console seems to be the easiest place to start, but can the switch be removed without taking the console, out as on this model it looks to be a big job to remove as there is no split in the console it goes from the dash to the storage box / arm rest!
