I have recently purchased an S 320CDI from a non franchised dealer.
Car is lovely and a pleasure to drive.
However, it does have a couple of niggles that I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction of.
1) When engaging drive or reverse on take up there is a slight snatch (shunt) on moving away. I took it back to be checked and it has been returned exactly the same! It feels like diif / driveshaft. But I know when I had similar with my BMW it was something really silly like a bush. Any odea's?
2) The compressor for the suspension moans audibly after pulling away for the first time for approx 1 - 2 minutes (sounds like a wheel bearing). I have been told this is "normal". I cant see that but would like clarification if poss
