S320 CDI Front Suspension (?) rumble...

Hi
I have a S320 CDI LWB 2003 face lift model. When I go over speed bumps etc, I have this rumbling noise from around the front suspension/steering. It's been in and out of my local dealer who have replaced various bushes, air pump mountings......but it's still there. I'm out of warranty now - I wonder if it was a dastardly plan.
Anyone got any ideas?

so you ve been to the dealer, they have charged you for something is not right, get the car back to them and tell them youve paid them for sweet FA - excuse my attitute but i am a little peed at the dealers at the moment.

I have the same issue with my S class, & would be interested if anyone has any Ideas? In the meantime, i will enquire & post any findings.

Ive had all the front bushes replaced, unfortunatly the s-class has bushes and joints that cannot be bought seperatly and must be bought as part of an arm. I spent around £3000 to get it sorted and this didnt include any of the airmatic suspension struts,
Expensive car to maintain im afraid.

The suspension in the S class is hideously expensive to repair and always seems to go wrong. You will have to sit on the dealer with a lawyer behind you to get them to do the repairs otherwise you will be left with a massive repair bill when the car is out of warranty. Does not matter if the warranty expires while they are sorting it out, once the problem arose within warranty they must sort it. A good idea to leave the car with them until they have it sorted, if it's not right don't take it back. A lot of people will tell you they will try to string you out instead of addressing and fixing the problem.
