s320 cdi

i have recently bought a s320 cdi, and would like to know if it is fibre optic for cd changer. it is a w reg (2000/2001).do i need to know if there is a certain code for cd? i am new to mercs and don,t know anything about them. other questions... how do i get tv to work and how does on board telephone work? anyone help me please?

If it says "no TV" when you press the TV button, means you need a TV tuner. TV was an optional extra on the S320cdi. The phone should be Nokia 6210 that sits in the cradle situated in the lid of the central armrest.

thanks for the answer, i have looked where you suggested in the central arm rest but there is nothing there. it seems that my car never had a phone fitted, is it a merc only dealership that can fit any of the optional extras@?

hi there have just bought S320cdi great car just a problem with the phone. display says please wait inistalising phone, had waited about 10 min still no phone, any ideas anyone.

Delmerc. I had this in my old S Class and it was because I had inserted a 6310 phone into the cradle and the module running it all was for a Nokia 6210 phone

The module is situated under the rear seat cushion (offside of the car)
