Can anybody tell me if the rear suspension on the 1998 S class is self levelling.

as above - but the way to tell - open bonnet - look at l/h (nearside / passenger) headlight - behind it is a flap about 6" square. open flap - is there a bottle with a screw lid? yes = self levelling no = no...
you can see under the flap by looking from the side...
