S500 2003 - buy or not?

I plan to buy s500 2003 year, but not sure whether it's worth it. How often does this car has to be serviced? Are the parts expensive? How much fuel does it consume?

Having owned a 500 V8 for 5 days, I can say that it gives 30pmh on the motorways and 24 around towns and country roads, it should do 11k to 13 in between services. Parts ! what are they Once you have had one, you will never manage without.

Pretty much agree with the comments on fuel consumption, I have an S500 on a 52 Plate. It averages 22 around town and 32 on the motorway. Great car, I have no regrets in buying it and for a 3 -4 year old car you are getting serious "metal" for the price of a base Mondeo.
