S500 AC gas level - too high for the machine

I went to get my AC drained and refilled at a garage. They sucked out around 750g, vacuumed it for 10 mins, then refilled. According to the sticker under the bonnet the car requires 950g +/- 30g, but their machine could not put in more than 850g. The mechanic tried to fool it into pumping another 100g, but it wouldn't do it. Should I be bothered about this? My A/C is working, but would 100g more make a difference? At what level does the compressor cut out?

Thanks.

Perhaps they used the wrong VIN number or there has been some mod,if no more will go in, nothing else you can do

Sorry, I wasn't too clear in my post. It was the machine that had a preset limit for all cars of 850g - it was the most the machine could do. Obviously not designed for an S-Class Mercedes.
