S55 AMG best tyres?

Hi guys
I am new to the forum just bought my first mercedes in a few years a 2003 S55 AMG komressor. Love the car so far comfort, build quality and endless peer. Question is though the tyres look like they will need changed soon am wandering what are the best tyres to use? I was thinking Michelin pilot sports? Any suggestions from your own experience?

michelins are good, i use them on all my sets of wheels.

Hello and welcome,,,, the main thing that I go for is low noise as some tyres can generate quite a noise that would spoil the very quiet ride. Most of us shy away from any tyre that has any form of a big V pattern, as these are the noisiest.

I'm very pleased with the Continental Sport Contact 3 tyres I had fitted on my SL500 two years ago. They are quiet, comfortable and grippy.
