Once my car gets fully warm, it could be 100+ miles, there's no set time but it seems heat related, the ASD warning lamp comes on. If I switch off to re-set it still comes on, (that's why I infer it's heat related). once it is on, if I go over a substantial bump, especially in the wet, the ESB & ABS lights also come on, (but not on their own, without the ASD). It doesn't switch into limp home mode. I had the diagnostics taken by my dealer and he thinks it's a yaw sensor, £50 odd, or maybe the big one under the back seat which is £700!

Anyone else had this, or have any ideas? I'm suspicious, surely a yaw sensor would work, or not work, hot or cold.

A lot of other feedback on the site about wheel sensors. I noticed they were quite cheap and seems they are delicate. I presume being in an unsprung part of the car they are subject to more bumps.

Have you recently had wheel/s off for puncture/tyres/brake pads or even a service when they may have been swapped around?

I forgot to mention too, using brakes over a distance of 100 miles will tend to generate quite a lot of heat possibly causing contacts to be affected.

I have recently put new discs and pads on but the problem was there before that. Thanks anyway.

About the Addaptive Damping. Should you be able to see or feel the difference in the damping when the dashboard switch is "on", ie, red led on? I can't say I feel the difference. Could that be part of the problem?
