Hi My new glc gets map updates via Mercedes over the air updates. Am I correct in assuming therefore that the sd cards that can be bought showing safety cameras as well would not be viable?

Map updates are separate from speed camera alerts which, for my car, are saved as Points of Interest. I use SCDB.info for my downloads so you can check their website to see whether it will work with your car. Mercedes seem to be blocking use on some later systems as speed camera alerts are illegal in Germany (and France),
