Hi All, my Sat Nav has suddenly stopped working, it's just stuck at the road at my home address and doesn't move. I have tried to reset with no joy and also had the battery unplugged for ten minutes with no joy. Could it be the antenna is faulty?

If so, how do I know which one will fit as a replacement .

I have seen the one below on ebay and wondered if it would be suitable ?

If you know the area you are in, then slowly drive away and see if it works. This will rule out any interference or jamming issues.

There is a good chance the antenna has failed, & for £5.25 this will confirm or not that fault.
Just check its the same connector.
If it is the antenna all you need to do is find somewhere to fit the antenna, & it will save you a couple hundred ££ from Mercedes.

Brilliant thanks for that.... I am completely useless with anything technical, is there a guide anywhere that shows how to check this please?

I am guessing the antenna connector will be on the back of the sat nav so pull it out. Swap the antennas out put the new antenna on the roof in the open & see what happens.
If you cant work how to get the sat nav out Google it, I am sure it will be on You Tube or someone on here will know.

What year is your car Garry? Mercedes have a lot of different Comand and Audio systems so you may need to ensure you get the right fitting.

This link will help you workout what system you have.

A150 manual, smart forTwo, W205 AMG line premium plus.
If its not moving at all then the first thing I would do is to remove all power, wait and the plug it back in. This will force a reset.

Usually the map will move (incorrectly) even with a failed antenna.
