Sat Nav feature not working

Hi all,

I've got the command sat nav system in my 2004 e class, and i seem to have lost the feature where the directional information and street name doesn't display in the centre of the speedo. when i cycle through the menu's using the buttons on the steering wheel, the NAV part doesn't appear.

I took my car to the dealers last month to have some new brake pads and they did some software updates and other stuff, so i think they have somehow disabled it. Is this something i can do myself to switch it back on or have i got to take it back to the dealers for them to sort out?

Sorry Paul if it is not there,then it can only be activated by STAR diagnosis.

Have a go at who did the work.
