Sat/Nav in w210

I fancy a Sat nav system which is not mounted in the top of the dashboard, but rather in the spare "radio" slot which is unused. This would require a "remote" aerial which can be mounted inside the windscreen so it can "see"
the satellites - any ideas on make/model

blaupunkt have a new range of din sized units which dont need a speed signal (saving time and money ) ill get the model no for u 2 check the spec

On the W210, the speed signal is already connected to pin 1 on the radio (Green/Black wire).
All that is needed is an APS30 made for Merc by Becker.
The only extra needed is the GPS aerial.
The connectors on the back of the radio are all the same.
It's a straight swap.
