Sat nav / radio

hi , iv just swapped my radio over in my 2000 c class as the lcd display had failed , since swapping over the new radio doesnt swith off with the car , and also the sat nav and audio info doesnt come up on the dash screen , meaning i cant adjust the volume or change cd`, and stuff , have i missed something out while swapping units , all the connectors where identical and im pretty sure i havent left one out , many thanx for your help guys

it is malcolm , its an AUDIO 30 APS , replacing what i thought was also an audi0 30 , although all the functions are the same and the units look very similar i had to by an addition dash board trim to make it fit :-( the replacement unit was slightly narrower , just couldn`t tell this from the pic when i bought it from e-Bay , bummer eh , it is a good unit tho and has a MB badges on it , manufactured by Beccker , nothings ever simple tho is it lol

There was a change in 1999-2000 and the 2 are not compatible, I will do some checking on this

Why not ask Becker to fix the display on you old one
