SAT NAV uninstalled

Uninstalled my SAT Nav by mistake (DOH) on my V Class any advice on how to get it reinstalled.

What do you mean by “uninstalled”?

I was trying to sort out rear camera issue and rebooted COMAND, forgetting the SAT NAV would be reset

removed hardware?
or
deleted mapping?

there's a fair few posts where units lock up and disconnecting for their power source, say for 10 mins and powering up the car with decent voltage on the battery, helps the car remember what its supposed to do...

I think you mean you did a reset in engineering mode?

If so, then you have probably wiped out the configuration of the system completely. The car will need to be recoded online via Xentry if this is the case.
