The 80's are alive and kicking in my local carpark. Spotted this wideboy SEC and its in better than new condition. The interior (sorry for crap pics) was mint with a red leather on every surface. Great 80's BBS wheels with zero marks on them and a great paint finish.

That is the 126 wide body conversion, you can buy the kit to do it

Jaymanik is converting one right now, I must say that I like or love the SEC is it is, its a car that made MB what it is today

It could be and I can check, I know that you have to weld the new wings over the original and build new wheel arches

I quite like it. It certainly has the 80s feel, although not as good looking as the AMG widebody.

I had the 320, and now the 500, there is between 3-6 mpg difference between them, the 129 is still arguably the best and cheapest to run
