I posted on here a few days ago about changing the front pads on my C200k with "sports package". I ordered new pads from a Merc outlet and am about to do the job. With the pads is a leaflet which says: Warning High Pressure......Only trained specialists are authorised to work on the SBC brake system (Sensotronic Brake Control).

Am I correct to think that my C200K "DOES NOT" have SBC? And can any one tell me if the caliper is a four pin?. Any relevent information will be of great help.

Many Thanks, Paul

You do not have SBC sir, that is for sure, 90% have the 2 pins each side holding the pads, very straight forward, if you get stuck there is always some one here

Many Thanks

Dear Malcolm,

Thanks very much for the prompt reply. I would not even bother you chaps if I could locate a workshop manual. Which I have tried too without success. Bought CD's twice from Ebay.. but they were unusable.

Thanks for the information, Paul
