The icarsoft is what is usually recommended. I believe v3 is the latest model.

Another vote for an iCarsoft MB 2 or MB 3. Speak to the people at “ukparts direct” as they are authorised dealers if you choose to get one of these..

Good day and welcome to the club.
I use a Launch X431 Pro scanner for all my vehicles and it covers over a hundred car manufacturers world wide.
It has out performed a Main Mercedes Dealership diagnosis tool....!!!! on a problem they totally mis diagnosed.
I asked my MOT guy what he would recommend and he advised this scanner as it was on a par with his Snap on scanner and the local college use the Launch scanners to teach their students.
However the choice is yours at the end of the day
