hi , on my c180 (202) i have the scorpion 918 alarm on it with window closure, when i lock it sometimes the windows go down , then sometimes just the back go down , i`ve tried reseting it by taking the battery off and on but no good , any ideas please ?? thanks

We share the same car and we also share the same problem, as this has been an ongoing fault with my own car over the last few years, the problem is intermittent, my own automatic closure is currently not working.

The only time the fault was cured was when the car had a full service at an MB dealer, when it came back, the automatic closure was working again… however this only lasted for a few weeks and the problem came back again.
The only thing that I can put this cure down to is that it was put on the MB dealer’s Star diagnostic machine and something was reset.

I haven’t experienced your symptoms of just the back operating only which makes me think, in your case, that it might have something to do with loose or faulty fuses, worth checking out just in case.
There are fuses in a fuse box in the boot, just to the rear of the battery, there is a fuse for the front two windows and a fuse for the back two windows, there will be a card inside the fuse box lid to show which is which, check that these fuses are ok.

Sorry I don’t have a definite solution for you, maybe someone else on here can through some light on this problem.
