I have a 26 month old SLK200 in Obsidium Black. I recently noticed some scratch marks on the corner of the front bumper. Someone scuffed it in the work car park. It seems to be madness to take it to the dealer for rip off repair costs. I touched the scratches up with a Halfords pack of the correct colour touch up paint. I must admit it is now hardly noticable, but I know it is there. Will this affect the warranty? and if it does is it too late to have MB repair it? I haven't taken it to MB since this happened. It is still 4000 miles to the next service which will be a 'D'.

No Sir, what you have done affects nothing, and your warranty is still intact
