screen washer reservoir leak on c200!

this morning,i saw a puddle of water under the front passenger side of my car.

on opening the bonnet,i noticed a slow leak of water from what looks like a black rubber plug which is situated at the front ,lower left hand side of the washer bottle.
if i plug the black rubber with my finger ,the water stops leaking.

is this common-do i have to buy a new rubber plug from the stealer to rectify? :?: :!:
anyone come across this one before? :?:

quick cure is to buy a grommet from the stealer (cost 25p) and insert into hole this will last 10 years. If you realy have a phobia about the stealers buy some silicone sealer, remove the washer resevior degrease the area and seal with silicone cost about 2.45 and will last about a month

just an updateon the c200

the rubber plug/grommet is where the optional motor for the headlamp washer fits in.

mine does not have this extra.

i replaced the plug from the stealer-the cost was 15pence.

the salesman said he sold quite a lot of these ,therefore ,it s a common fault.

cheap fix but my 190e car is 10 yrs old and never had any similar problem-the c200 is only six years old!

No sarcasam this time. The replacment grommet is plastic which will not perish as the old rubber one did.
