Screws in Catalytic Converter

Has anyone had any success with screwing drywall screws into cat to stop rattles, i have read on other forums such as BMW that this can be done and should last 1 to 2 years.

No sir I tried it,3 long screws in all, but the ceramic just breaks up more and more, in the end I fitted cats made of mesh.
