Scuff marks/light scrathes

I have managed to get a couple of small (1 inch) scuff marks/light scartches on the bonnet (don't ask!) of my C240 SE Elegance. Any tips/ideas on how to repair them, or am I looking at a bonnet respray

it depends on how deep they are, can you see the undercoat through the marks, if you cant, then they should polish out with T cut or similar. try doing it lightly on one

I use 1800 grit paper and then polish the area to get the shine back, I use 3M body shop compounds. Use the paper gently in a side to side action and dont do it dry use some water, only rub for a short time and check the area, if its a deel scratch feed in some paint on a cocktail stick and then when dry use the paper to take it down, dont use lots of paint.
