Seat backs not locking.

124 CE 1991 seat backs will not lock with doors closed and engine, running any suggestions please.

You have electrical wires and vacuum pipes and solenoid under there.

There are links to door switches. Is everything else that is operated by door switches working OK ? Normally two door switches per side.

Something must have come detached under seat.

Car does not have to be in gear.
