Only with the cleaners that wash and suck up the dirty water or cleaner.

Big problem is that the normal cleaners just do the surface and the dirts works its way back to the surface.

If you can,, I would remove the squab, take off the top cover and clean/ wash including the foam separately

I did mine with a little steam cleaner £15 removed all traces of stains without any chemicals. Use it in the house as well on carpets removes all stains with no cleaners. Worth a try.

If it's really bad get it done professionally, but for spot cleaning crush a normal clothes washing tablet in a bowl of warm water and soak a clean cotton cloth in the solution. Wring the cloth out nearly dry and just dab at the marks rinsing the cloth out regularly in the solution. If you've got watermarks left when it's dry, gently rub round the outside of the mark with a clean damp cloth. Don't rub too hard or you'll damage the nap of the cloth and try it on an area that isn't obviously seen first. I've got an E240 with cream cloth seats and got WD40 out this way so good luck.
