Hello everyone
Can the height of the E Class 211 front seats be raised by more than that offered by the lever?
My car has the part-electric seats with manual lever adusters for the front seats. I find that I could do with a bit more height at the front edge of the driver's seat to give more support under my thighs. I'm six foot two. I've juggled with the electric adjustment and I've "ratcheted" up using the height lever but I just need that little bit more.
Can penny washers be put under the front bolts that secure the seat rails to the floor? You can see these bolts when the seat is slid back.
Anybody tried this? Any problems with the idea? Anybody got access to a diagram of how they're anchored? Could I simply draw the bolts out and slide a packing washer in then bolt them back in again?
Thanks, Russ.
